Ruqayyah is a dedicated and client-focused Financial Planner who brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and real life experience to her advisory practice. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Hons) and began her career as a Structural Engineer, where she spent six years developing strong technical and problem solving skills.
 
In 2018, Ruqayyah made the decision to step away from her engineering career to focus on her family. This meaningful life transition strengthened her understanding of financial security and long-term planning, which later inspired her move into the financial services industry.
 
Since joining AIA in 2021, she has built a strong track record of excellence. She is a three-time qualifier of the AIA Star Convention (2021, 2022, and 2023) and was recognized as a Premier Advisor from 2022 to 2024.
 
Ruqayyah’s advisory approach is centered on integrity and genuine client understanding. She prioritizes educating her clients so they can make informed financial decisions, rather than committing to plans without proper knowledge. Her focus is on building a strong financial foundation through adequate protection planning, followed by tailored strategies for longterm goals such as retirement.
